Not at all. Most students at U.S. Tae Kwon Do College start with no previous martial arts experience. Our beginner-friendly classes are designed to teach fundamentals step by step, allowing each child to progress at their own pace while building confidence and skill from day one.
For most children, attending 2 to 3 classes per week provides the best balance for steady progress, skill development, and physical activity. Consistent attendance helps students build confidence, retain what they learn, and develop healthy routines while still leaving plenty of time for school and family activities.
For the first class, comfortable athletic clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts or sweatpants is perfectly fine. Once enrolled, students typically train in an official uniform appropriate for their program. Our team will guide you through everything your child needs so you feel fully prepared.
